Got new lanterns and took them for a walk or two. We r all grown up now so Mama let us have lanterns with candles. We took such good care of them we can use them again next year!
This is a photo-blog started when I was 5 years old, just before I was given my very own digital camera.

A few days ago, I was having my cereal and ma ma usually cut up some fruits to go with it.
Being early in the morning, I happen to think that the banana was trying to tell me … “Don’t Eat Me” … and I told ma ma about it. She helped me take these pictures but I was not excused from eating my cereal.
Sad … :-(
But it was yummy with cold milk =)
Grandpa brought us to have satay on Sunday. I always loved satay and this place serves children size satay sticks! (Note from papa: actually, they are just very small and it’s easy for the kids to eat). SL and myself had a bowl of sauce each, but grandma said ours is without chilli.
Anyway, SL seems to enjoy it very much, she had some of the rice and also she actually ate a few sticks of satay by herself!
It’s small enough for her to put nearly the whole satay in her mouth!
And oh, here’s my new haircut, 2 days later …
(Note from papa: for more info on the satay, visit iantan.net.
I am refining my computer skills and saving paper! See my drawing using Paint.

That’s what I am now that I have lost my upper front tooth! Mama thinks I am absolutely adorable though.
Mama bought us Krispy Kreme donuts the other day. Its new outlet just opened in Mid Valley so naturally, she had to check it out. I am not sure what the fuss is all about. Papa liked it though a dozen was a tad too many for the four of us. Here’s a pick of their best dozen…
My sister went on a field trip and came home with a fish. We named him Finn. He doesn’t eat much – just a few pellets twice a day and only needs his water cleaned weekly. Mama says he’s a fighting fish so we haven’t got any other fish near or around him. This is how he looks…
Another thing happened on my birthday! My first milk tooth fell out! Finally … Here’s the before picture, taken just a few days before it fell off.
Here’s a picture of it after it fell off, by itself.
The other one beside it is going to fall off soon, it’s wobbly!
MINE! He he … celebrated it in Penang at ah-chor’s home. A little different this year, as there were very few physical presents but more ang-pows. Well, the reason was that I asked for it as I wanted a Wii! Mama got me a Ben 10 birthday cake.
As usual, my little sister can’t wait for the cake to be cut.
A got quite a few birthday wishes over the phone.
My sister finally getting her share of the cake.
Great birthday, thank you everyone … now we have to wait for sis’ birthday to get more ang-pows for the Wii …
School holidays, off to Penang we go. Ma ma thought that it was a good idea for us (the family) to take the ferry to Penang, for the experience. It was such an efficient service that my sister did not know we went on a ferry and arrived in Penang island! Or was she looking out for fairies instead? Hmmm …
We arrived at ah chor’s (great grandma’s house) in time for tea and we spent lots of time in her garden, mainly kicking around footballs.
We had a good time having our dinners in the garden as well!
Thanks ah-chor …
After our Saturday lunch and some shopping for teachers’ day, grandma gave us a treat with rides in The Curve. I went on an elephant and mei-mei went on a spotted doggy.
Thanks grandma and HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!
After music class and mei-mei’s ballet class, I helped papa to carry his tripod to take some scenery around the hills. We hiked up the hill and walked in the quiet surroundings. I was quite scared as we walked up to the reservoir.
I like the clouds above …
We didn’t actually managed to take any good shots as I think my papa was sure of his way around. He said, we will try again another day as it was getting late.
Another session of futsal over the long 3 day weekend. Not many of my little futsal mates turn up, so we just had a kick around with Kieran and our papas.
It was a peaceful futsal day, with the older boys having their own game whilst us younger ones just kicking the ball around. One of papas favourite photo of me …
Papa brought his large camera flash for the day and was able to take better pictures.
Earlier this week, papa brought back a Wii for us to try out. He told us that Uncle Poo is not using it at the moment and will let us have it until he gets his own TV in his room.
The controller fits nicely into my hands surprisingly! Well, maybe not, it is designed for the family anyway.
Papa likes to play Wii golf …
Oh, I forgot to mention this, this Wii is a Japanese unit (Uncle Poo was in Japan for 4 years) and I learnt how to navigate around the Japanese menu after papa showed it to me just once!
Papa has a video of me bowling but he doesn’t want to upload to YouTube (not sure what that is … he just says YouTube!). BTW, mama is hooked on this thing and wants to get a unit for ourselves!
We were at Tropicana City and mama being mama, saw this cute MyMelody bedside lamp! She showed it to sis and obviously, she wanted it.
Anyway, sis is very happy with it and she will proudly switch it on at night and happily turn it off before going to bed.
A normal Saturday, where we go over to grandpa and grandma’s place and have dinner out. We were at Tropicana City … my first time there … for dinner at this new place called Room 18 or 18 Room …
After dinner, where I ate half of papa’s congee as I did not like the chee cheong fun, we went for a walk-about. Mei2 and myself had some fun at a kids amusement park but the highlight of the day was this really cool bike …
I was cycling all over the place and mama asked the guy about the price of the bike. Guess what!
The one I was riding on is 4,000 coins (according to mama)! And there’s a lower priced one as well, at 3,000 coins! There goes my cool bike! For adults they even have a version that’s more than 20,000 coins.
Oh, well … kids can’t have everything …
On Sunday, there was an easter egg hunt for kids around our place. Nothing really to report other than we had fun running around the place looking for coloured eggs
We actually coloured some easter eggs, between sis and myself, we actually had 3 (can’t remember why, something to do with one of them cracked).
Qing Ming, or sometimes known as tomb sweeping day generally coincides with Easter but somehow, this year, it’s a week earlier. Last weekend, papa drove the whole family to Malacca for Qing Ming.
Mama has already informed me that it is time that I help out and learn a little more about this festival. So, I went with Pei Kong (grandpa’s elder brother), grandpa, papa, grand auntie (grandpa’s younger sister) and one koh (papa’s cousin sister).
We visited a few graves where we clean the surroundings and gave a little prayer to the heavens and also to our ancestors.
Me helping out in trying to light the candles.
Saying a small prayer to the heavens.
My favourite part was to help out with the burning of gifts for our ancestors.
Times of bad economy according to papa. Someone tried to “steal” the 1928 tiles of great-great-grandmother’s grave. Papa says that those tiles can fetch a very good price as a gift.
We end the tradition by burning gold nuggets (made of paper) for our ancestors.
This is the 2nd Saturday that I went to have a go at soccer in a futsal in-door court. Why soccer? Well, the Australians still call it soccer although officially it is called football. There’s also the soccer mum in tow! Thanks mum for waking up early and making the arrangements.
Oh, of course, there will also be my number 1 fan this week. She insisted on coming along as she was bored stiff with papa last Saturday.
Papa took the pictures this week but since it was quite dark and he did not want to disturb us using his flashgun, he took them as it is. He apologizes for the colours.
Over here!, over here!
Free kick!
Look at that move!
Half time!
We played in court C and Kieran was there too!
Of course, the game did not go without some incident.
Aiks! My shoes!
New long socks!
We are taking a few weeks off, so I have to wait until the end of April before we have another session. Mummy is wondering if I need shin guards.
