Lion Dance and My Soft Effect

Accompanied my dad to take some pictures of a Lion Dance event. After taking the pictures, I realised that either my lens is dirty or I have accidently set the camera to take soft pictures. Anyhow, here it goes ...

The table laid out with the mandarins (kam, or literally translated as gold).

Here are the lions, a red and a yellow, rushing towards the "kam".

It seems pretty fierce, doesn't it?

I think there is something wrong with this old camera that my dad gave me ... hmphhhhhh ... time to complain to him and pester him to get me a newer, lighter, smaller, more megapixels and a proper working unit.

My very own digital camera!

Well, I have had it for a few days. My parents gave me their very first (but rather old) 3.2 Megapixel Digital Camera and it's a Sony! To be exact, it's a Sony Cybershot DSC-P32. Here's a picture of me with it.

I have had it for a few weeks, been playing around with it and I really enjoy making short and funny videos with it. My daddy has also been "teaching" me a little on how to take pictures and although it is not as sharp as his DSLR (whatever that is), I think I am getting good at it. Below are some sample pictures taken at my grandmother's house.

Comments and criticism welcome! I still have more to say but I depend on my daddy to put this up as I have limited access to the Internet!

Port Dickson: Legend Hotel

Straight back from Penang, daddy had to go to Port Dickson, so all of us took the opportunity to stay in the Legend Hotel. It has two types of rooms, the tower rooms which we were in and the water chalets, as pictured below.

This is how I feel about the place! He he ...
